two cat theifs. These two are probably two of the most famous cats of all. Probably because of their dance moves and cute
accents. This song is the first where the whole song is sung by the cats who are being sung about and they have the whole
stage to themselves for the entire song. Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer are also the first peke and pollicle to be seen in "The
Pekes and the Pollicles".
Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer used to be puppets in a puppet show put on by
Mistofolees. These two are believed to be ex-hench cats for
Macavity.
Rum Tum Tugger for a while seems to have a thing for Rumpleteazer and seems to be pretty good friends with Mungojerrie.
