She roamed around the streets of London. "You can do whatever you want," her mother's words rang through her head. She roamed until she came upon a large cat, "What are you doing here? Sinacles's snarling words caused the little calico to run back home.

"What's wrong Teazer," Hitoni's soft voice comforted her sister.

"Big meany cat scared me," she responded. Hitoni groomed her sister's ears to comfort her. "Where's mum Toni," the little calico started to bat around a ball of yarn.

"S'e's 'unting for dinner," Toni laid down and laughed as her little sister tripped over a box.

"Well s'e better 'urry up I'm 'ungry," the kitten sat down and frowned.

"Oh Teazer always t'inking about yourself," Hitoni laughed.

She just shrugged it off and waited for her mother, but, she never showed. Two days later her mother still wasn't coming. "Which way did Mum go Toni," Ton pointed the way and her sister was off. She ran until she found her mother laying on ground, her eyes were closed so Teaser figured she was asleep. "Mum wake up....come on Mummy you got come 'me," she shook her mother. Milan remained limp, Teaser opened her left eye and blood poured out of it like water from a glass. The rotting smell of her mother's insides made Teaser vomit. The rain poured down pushing the blood and vomit into the storm drain. She propped up her mother's paw and laid under it. She cried until there was no more tears in her eyes, adding to the puddle of rain under her. She laid there for two hr. before she got up and walked home. "'intone I'm 'ome," she walked over to her sisters sleeping form.

She rolled her over and gasped as she saw her sister's throat had been torn open. The blood still came out spilling on Teazer's paws. Her blood-shot eyes turn redder as she started to cry again, she laid down and noticed a "S" carved into her sister's stomach. The mark indicated that Sinacles had killed her sister. She ran off into the night away from it all, she wished this all was just a nightmare and pretty soon she'd wake up to her mother's warm body. She ran until she smacked into a calico tom. "S...Sorry Mister," she looked up at him.

His dark brown eyes burned with anger, but softened and the apology, "It's alrioght w'ere are you going so fast sweetie." He smiled at her and purred.

She stared at him for a while he was handsome, muscular, looked about a teenage cat. "I lost my family all because me. M...My n...ame is Rumple..Teazer," she almost started to cry again.

The tom put a comforting arm around her and smiled, "The names MungoJerrie." She buried her face into his chest and cried all over again. Mungojerrie, unsure how to deal with this type of emotion, just patted her on the back. She pulled away and stopped crying. Mungo picked the kitten up by the scruff of her neck and trotted to Sinacles's lair.
